AH, THERE’S NOTHING quite like welling up at an ad to make you feel like a giant sap.
Two weeks ago, Homestore and More shared their new ad campaign, The Reunion, and let’s just say it’s a proper tearjerker.
It features a kindly Irish dad beaming as he listens to a voicemail from his son in Australia
Before talking about his plans for retirement with a colleague.
And getting the barbecue ready.
Every Irish Dad’s passion.
Disaster strikes when he receives a voicemail from his son informing him that he won’t be able to fly out after all…

And then…
Surprise! It was all a goof.
